Maybe I'm coming down
to pick you up and drive you out
I ain't lying, I don't need to try now
There was a time when less was said
man, it's been long
Bitter signs were all around
running my home
Pretty soon it come to tell
what I don't want to know
Thought it'd kill the mystery
thought it'd go too far
But maybe I'm coming down
pick you up and drive you out
I ain't lying, I don't need to try now
Been inside this pod I saw rot
it went deep down where anyone would cut it off
Fill it up with everything you've got
Still a seed grows slow
and now all I know is you've got to laugh
Maybe I'm coming down
to pick you up and drive you out
I aint lying, I don't need to try now

Her voice, the vulnerability within, and a glorious sound, not overproduced but natural. 'Tender Heart' gets me - resonates in a way that is sad and glorious simultaneously. Discordant guitars behind a clean acoustic and voice ballad. Love her voice, her lyrics. Great album. BikeBoy29
